Denmark’s focus in this year’s Venice Biennale is on the younger generation of artists who were part of the international breakthrough for Danish visual art during the 1990s. All are installation artists who work with video, sound or light in various ways, producing very different and equally provocative works: Eva Koch, Joachim Koester, Peter Land, Ann Lislegaard, Gitte Villesen. Five separate artists’ books and one general catalog document the show.
