For more than half a century, Italian photographer Mimmo Jodice’s work has distilled the essence of Naples, the city where he was born in 1934. Whether he was chronicling urban decay or ancient Roman antiquities, his photos—taken in black and white—inspire a timeless fascination. Now, in recognition of his influential career, a museum in central Naples that will house his archive is in its planning stages. Architecture students from European universities submitted designs for the building; this copiously illustrated book documents the top six submissions to the competition. Includes a wealth of maps, plans, renderings, elevations and texts by designers, architects and artists involved in the project.
