The Color Accordion is an ingenious and handy tool for designers, art directors, painters, basically anyone who works with color. The brainchild of the brilliant German designer Ulrichadolf Namislow – whose witty, inventive products are featured in the MOMA design catalog – this is a set of 36 colored cards with strategically die-cut holes. By turning the cards 90 degrees at a time, you’ll find four shades at a time make up continuous “chords” of four.
