TheParallelShow, was an experimental series of events consisting of ten impromptu artist performances staged from July 2015 – January 2017 and orchestrated by Frans van Lent and The Unnoticed Art Festival. Never announced and leaving no physical traces, the public events occurred in major institutions across Europe and the US, including the TATE Britain (UK); Kunsthal, Rotterdam (NL), the Apollo Sanctuary (Delphi), the Stasi Museum, Berlin; The Met Cloisters, (NY) and more.

The final catalog is designed as a document of reports collected from the participating artists in relation to the ten events. Also featured is correspondence between Andrew McNiven and Lisa Skuret along with Ieke Trinks and Frans van Lent plus a short essay by Henk Overdevest about the ambiguous relations of the personal reports with the actual shows.
